COVID-19 Response Fund


Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted by COVID-19 and, now more than ever, it’s important for us to be united in community and remain in service to each other. The Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region leaders are approaching this continuously evolving situation with focus and utmost care in order to provide support for our members and community.

Even though COVID-19 has dramatically changed the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region’s service delivery model, our commitment to the community remains the same. We are shifting funds to help support our community and those struggling during the pandemic and have a $10,000 COVID-19 Fund available for small businesses and nonprofits. Entities are encouraged to submit an application to request COVID-19 funds.

The response fund was created to provide resources to organizations/entities in the Great Lakes Bay Region to help support our community during this uncertain time. For over 85 years, the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region has been committed to developing the potential of women and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

 

Application Process

To be considered for the grant, please submit an application to president@jlgreatlakesbay.org or mail to 5800 Gratiot Rd, Suite 104, Saginaw, MI 48638 containing the specified items below by December 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. The Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region’s board will review the applications received and will contact applicants if there are questions or if additional information is required. The JLGLBR Board of Directors will acknowledge applicants within two weeks of receipt and notify applicants of the final decision. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
