Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region as Grantmaker

The Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region is in many ways a grantmaker. Grant recipients are identified by members sitting on the Community Impact Committee and our local Community Advisory Board (CAB).

The Community Impact Committee researches local community issues to keep abreast of changing needs.  It discovers how the League can support those needs, either through funding alone or funding and League volunteers. These grants are given through our Community Projects, Enabling Fund and Scholarships.

For larger projects, this committee is focused on "food insecurity" in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

If you know of a non-profit agency that wants to partner with the League to promote our issue-based community impact (IBCI) area, please contact communityimpact@jlgreatlakesbay.org.
