Tree & Wreath Designers

The Junior League of the Great Lake Bay Region is preparing for its 2023 Festival of Trees to take place Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 12, at the Great Hall Banquet & Convention Center, 5121 Bay City Road in Midland. The money raised during this annual fundraiser supports the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region’s mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community.
A magical winter wonderland will be created with the donations of time, talent, and materials from local businesses, artisans, florists, and interior decorators. Since 1987 thousands of people have strolled through our holiday event, hoping they will be the lucky winners of a special tree, wreath, or garland. As a festival designer, your tree, wreath, or garland will be seen by many, and your name will appear on a placard next to your display. This is a chance to show off your talent and creativity, promote your business, and display your support of our community!
All Festival of Trees Designers have the opportunity to receive:
- General admission tickets to Festival of Trees
- Tickets to the exclusive Premiere Night held on Friday, November 10, 2023
- Early Bird Designer Registration: Complete and submit your Designer Agreement by August 31 and receive a special thank you gift from the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region.
- Final Designer Agreement Deadline: Please fully complete and return the designer agreement by October 15, 2023.
- A "Proud Designer" lawn sign you can display at your home or business
- The People's Choice Awards give all designers the opportunity to earn recognition from attendees. Attendees can vote on their favorite designs on Friday, November 11. Winners will be announced at Premiere Night and will receive a trophy and certificate that will be on display with your design item all weekend long! At the end of the event, the trophy and certificate are yours to take with you.
- A "Thank You" for being a designer gift upon check-in on decorating day (Wednesday, November 7).

Trees, wreaths, and garlands are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so do not hesitate! Agreements must be submitted no later than October 15. Please also review the Terms & Conditions (included in the Designer Agreement as well) to learn all the details of being a Designer. Once you submit your Designer Agreement, a member of the Trees, Wreaths, and Decorations (TWD) committee member will contact you with additional information and arrangments.
